Ah yes, this movie is the bane of my existence. I've been wanting it riffed for a long time.

I remember when this movie was released. Al Gore was pushing people to see it to increase awareness on global warming.
I wonder if his opinion changed after he saw what he was plugging.

I'm with everyone else on this riff - it DEFINITELY has been asking to be riffed for a while. Can't wait for this one. ;D

I remember when this movie was released. Al Gore was pushing people to see it to increase awareness on global warming. I wonder if his opinion changed after he saw what he was plugging. I can see why Gore would think along the lines of "any press is good press," but this piece of crap is so crammed with bad science (from the highly unlikely to the just plain impossible) it could actually be seen as a parody of the actual issue, a poorly researched presentation that the Rush Limbaugh crowd can point at and say either "look at that ridiculous liberal propaganda" or "yes, this IS global warming and it's fictitious and will never happen!" Either way the truth loses out. And that's especially not good for a very real and (eventually) devastating occurrence. Most people would care more about the environment if they were made aware of what their actions will result in down the road. But GW is so gradual and most people justifiably aren't thinking about 2100 AD. That's why any exposure of this issue might be seen as good exposure. But the science in this movie is on the level of 12 to the Moon or Phantom Planet...just plain stupid. I'm definitely looking forward to this riff.

What happened to disembaudio's voice... he sounds like a she.
I've started it and a half hour in I must say I'm a bit disappointed that they aren't slamming the film. If a movie ever deserves it it's this one.
They are piling on the references material and it's often funny. But I wish they were more in attack mode.... still there's plenty of time for them to get at it.
It's also not PC
RIFF SPOILER ALERT!!
There's a bit where they have a character speak who injects the words "Jihad, Jihad" often... that's sounds familiar to me, was that from South Park?

What happened to disembaudio's voice... he sounds like a she. That would be because she is a she, it's not DA.
