Wow, that's fast. Are they writing it superquickly, or did they have access to the dvd before us mortals?

Saw this coming a mile away.
Honestly, I'm not too excited about it. I have this gut feeling it'll be a mediocre Trax at best. The movie is already humorful enough, and the humor is actually quite good. I can easily seeing them loosing my attention span to the movie.
They should have done Ghost Rider or Hulk instead.

Cool - course I'm probably too much of an Iron-Geek and will probably be a back seat riffer... "Oh you should have said something about the Crimson Dynamo from issue #46 of Tales of Suspense!" I too wonder why they haven't tackled Ghost Rider, I'd think that one would be easy pickings.

I think I read on the Rifftrax forum that Ghost Rider was not a possibility because there are multiple cuts of the film floating around on DVD so it would be hard to pick one that everyone has. Unfortunate? Yes. But it is a business, and they have to be able to maximize profitability I guess...

That's too bad, I'd love to see a Ghost Rider commentary. I think Torgo Generic Halloween Costume has a point in that this is a well-made, enjoyable film. I could see it going either way, though: it could be a hilarious commentary if they joke with the movie, but if they stick to bashing the film, I think their riffs will ring a bit hollow. Either way, they'll have to minimize the dead spots to keep our interest.

I liked Iron Man but I'll still give it a go, you never know! Some of those Trax I've liked are for films I've enjoyed.

You know I somehow never knew there was such a thing as a Marvel Comic Book based movie until Rifftrax. Now I'm fully versed in the pantheon. DAMN YOU, RIFFTRAX!

Yeah the multiple cuts thing really hurts Ghost Riders chances unfortunately.

After all, they did do Daredevil, and it's director's cut was already released at the time. I also see it being a possiblity for RiffTrax Presents, seeing how they have done Saw, Alien, and Spider-Man 2, all of which have a second cut on DVD. They've been a bit gutsier with their pickings.

I'm suprised at the multiple cuts thing being the killing factor. There were 2 GR versions, theaterical and directors... the same as with Daredevil, Fantastic Four and several other rifftrax releases that have slipped my mind at the moment, but I do remember having to make sure it was a directors cut or what not when I rented them.

the same as with Daredevil, Fantastic Four and several other rifftrax releases that have slipped my mind at the moment Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and the first two Lord of the Rings movies. Not really sure beyond that, but there have been quite a few instances when RiffTrax did a film with two cuts.

Well now you see, that's why I wouldn't be able to get the rifftrax for LOTR until they released an uncut version. My original LOTR versions were broken under...... odd circumstances. However I still retained the uncut versions.
However, IRON MAN IS MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seem to remember that who we really have to blame is Netflix. They sent the guys the wrong version of Ghost Rider, so they figured Netflix would send everyone else the wrong version too.
