Good Health PracticesHere' the new one. I was wondering if anyone else had problems with the wmv download (for those who use it). Normally it works fine but mine stopped at the 7 minute mark and wouldn't play. I tied it a few times, checked out my system and everything looks golden. I've never had this happen before and the first 7 min ran without a hitch. I'm downloading another version to see how that works.

I only downloaded the iTunes version (mp4) and the Divx version and they did not have any issues. Hopefully you will be able to get a good copy of it. I have not seen anyone posting on the Rifftrax board with issues yet.
It really is funny, so I hope you can get it!

In the rifftax message board, others have noticed the same thing and they said they would fix it on Monday.
So just a bit more patience!

Cool - I was thinking of doing the Divx (new puter, I'd have to download everything again but that's no big deal) but I can wait if a fix is in. The first 7 minutes were great.
Thanks for the info.

I generally use Divx if I want to watch the short on my PC, and the MP4 file if I want to watch on my iphone or my main TV (via Apple TV). I probably should use the wmv file to make DVDs, but I lean on the other two formats mostly.
I wonder why shorts are always the funniest? From the MST3K days until now.

I'm looking for a means to convert my Divx because I've had heaps of trouble opening most of the files. Does anyone know of a way to convert Divx? I loved the short, btw. One of their best!

I had problems with it, then went back and downloaded the Mpeg file and that worked fine. Very funny short, B.T.W. ;D

What media player are you using? VLC is free and plays virtually every video format out there, we recommend it: www.videolan.org/vlc/

Still no fix on the wmv? Tried Divx but it takes an hour to download? Ga, so I quit on it. I prefer the wmv because it doesn't take up much room and is quick to dowload (about 5 min). I tried another wmv download but I get the same results, crap out at 7 min.

As a general rule, it usually will get you a much faster, if not close to instant result to email support@rifftrax.com or post in our own forum. I know it's tougher to have to register two places, but we're not checking this forum or mst3kinfo for tech support issues.
