I've decided not to go to the CT live show in Chicago. I have two tickets for the Friday Dec 19th, 7:30 showing and they're the VIP ticks, meaning first 5 rows reserved. Since it's (almost) Christmas time and there's a 1/3 chance that the movie shown will be SCCtM, (and to show that there's no hard feelings between you, me and CT,) I'm going to give the tickets away. Merry Christmas, Ho Ho Ho!
Here's the deal. Reply to this thread with your favorite Xmas riff (or whatever, this is for fun) and Monday, I'll randomly pick someone and send them the tickets. If you only need 1 ticket, please specify, and then I can pick a second person for the other ticket. Please only enter if you can make it out.
-SantaBoB3K
UPDATE! They've been given away.

That's nice of you, SantaBoB. (I would if I could, but I can't)

I'm as geographically challenged as Bix...sorry.

I am geographically challenged also. This is such a tremendously generous offer that I am going to sticky it so hopefully more will find it.

Wow, this is quite the offer BoB3K!
Well here's my riff, from 521:
"Okay, we're gonna whack Santa, he's muscling in on the Easter Bunny's turf." - Servo

Just wanted to say I appreciate the generosity. I have a ticket for that very show, and I don't have any friends who'd want to go, or I'd enter as well.

I'm surprised you aren't at least going to find out if SCCTM is actually what they're doing that day before dumping your tickets...or are you completely off CT altogether?

I don't want this thread to get Off Topic (which is to give away free tickets!), but to answer your question, I'm also not very hot on seeing the phillipino vampire dreck, and I wouldn't say i'm off CT, just not on enough to travel to Chicago to see them live. Now, back to on topic, this makes me laugh every time-- in Santa Clause, when Santa brings out his "toy" sleigh and winds up the "toy" reindeer and as Servo says, they are "not charming at all, but kind of creepy," and then Santa starts laughing and then the reindeer start doing some kind of broken Jarassic Park T-Rex jitter laugh and then Mike and the Bots start laughing and laughing until it turns into screams of terror. Priceless.

Ok, I'll play:
One of my favorite Xmas riffs is in SCCtM, when Droppo is trying on the Santa Claus outfit. Joel says "he's simple, isn't he?" and Tom says "simple, but stupid." Great line.
I also really love when Tom sings along with the song at the end of movie -- every line is good there, but the one that always cracks me up is "they'll burn on re-entry".
Thanks for the chance at the tickets, BoB. The wife has been asking me if we could go. You would be her hero, she's a huge Mary Jo fan.

Please allow me to send you the cost of the tickets you bought, and for the lucky winner, I look forward to meeting you there. RAD

RAD This thread was not a disguised call for money or sympathy; it was to give my tickets away, to be nice and to have fun. If you want to pay for two tickets, there are currently two people who have signed up for my tickets. Why don't you put in two more tickets and then they both can go.

Bob3K, Your post never came across as a disguised call for money or sympathy, and I apologize if I made it seem otherwise. There are quite a few members of this forum who can vouch for my integrity. I was truly trying to defray the cost somewhat for what you had so generously shouldered in your very kind offer of tickets. And, you make a perfect point, I can help augment your largesse. In addition to Bob3K's offer, I'll put up an additional two tickets so both couples who have signed up can attend. I look forward to seeing all of you there! RAD

Well okay then. Right now, there's two people who've "entered:" spudmantrumpy jason00 LAST CALL to enter!! I'll give it a couple more hours and then pick a winner, and RAD has offered two more tickets, so let's hope no one else pipes up or he may have to dig deeper into his (always gracious) pockets. Honestly, the only twinge of regret I have about not going is meeting RAD, et al. Maybe on some other occasion.
