At the bottom of the description they said: "Note: We consider this a brand new RiffTrax as it is vastly different from Mike's previous solo take." It's worth $3.99 just for that picture of Mike.

I really enjoyed Mike's commentary so hopefully this is a cracker!

They should redo Night of the Living Dead, and then do the rest of Romero's series.
That would be a yearly Halloween thing for me.

Cool! I loved the redo on Plan 9. Now if I can just find my Reefer disc?

Ahh, yes, thank you. Now it all makes sense and I can really groove on the piano too! (P.S: And I hope it's not entirely new. I'd hate to lose the Doritos line)

They should redo Night of the Living Dead, and then do the rest of Romero's series. That would be a yearly Halloween thing for me. Last month, Legend Films announced that it will release a new colorized, 3D version of “Night of the Living Dead” on April 1, 2009. It will have a limited theatrical release in the U.S. It will also be downloadable at Rifftrax.com. The downloadable version will include a RiffTrax commentary by Mike Nelson, Bill Corbett and Kevin Murphy. They should release more info closer to the release.

Thanks for the review. I liked the “bats*** insane” riff so much from Mikes first riff on the film that it’s found its way into my everyday vocabulary whenever describing nutters.

I was a bit disappointed in this one. If it hadn't been claimed in the rifftrax forum that this was "vastly" different from the Mike solo, I wouldn't have gone in expecting "vastly" new material. My rough estimate would have the new material accounting for around only ten percent. Not my idea of new. But it was good for some laughs, and what was new was funny. I seem to remember that Plan 9 had a much higher percentage of new lines when MKB revisited it. Still, as others have said...not bad. 7/10

That would mean only six minutes of new material. There's definitely a lot more than that.

I had to order the DVD, so I'll post a review on my website as soon as it arrives.
I've never watched the Mike Solo version. I wonder if I should watch it first or not?
