Anyone who has the official Rifftrax Shorts DVD has had to have heard the three Rifftone songs and probably agree they are awesome.
The more I hear them, the more I love them, and I'm hoping they do more and eventually maybe even release a CD. The only thing that would make it better would be if they had some kind of video to go with the songs on the menu, like their animated selves that were in the Shake Hands With Danger short.

Were they the songs they did for that Masters Of Song Fu thing because that allowed you to download them and they're great?

Yes, I downloaded them from the Song Fu site*, and I love all their songs. Which three did they include on the DVD? Because I actually have all four songs they did: Moon Shine, Do the Ballpoint!, The Ballad of Rufus Amos Adams, and When a Man Loves a Shark (Love Theme From Jaws). When a Man Loves a Shark is probably my favorite, just because it's a great song on the surface (I love to sing along), but if you pay attention to the lyrics, then it just becomes even funnier (just think about the emotion and intensity that Kevin has while singing the word "squid"). If anyone decides to start lobbying for the guys to cut a CD, I'm totally with you. *I added the site for the last round, because all four of their songs are accessible from the page... just in case someone's still looking for them.

The first one is pretty good (Ball Point Pen), the middle one is m'eh and I absolutely love the last one The 2nd one might actually be my favorite. Any song that calls the moon a dick is top drawer entertainment, for my money.

i love all the rifftone songs. kyrie, thanks for posting that link so i could hear the fourth one, the love theme from jaws. i hope kevin was trying to sound like neil diamond in that one! like calli, the more i listen to them, the more i want to hear. they are so funny, well written and produced. a cd release would be a terrific idea.

I will make sure the guys are aware that there is a demand for an official album.

No Rifftones album will be complete without Disembaudio's rendition of "My Heart Will Go On."
