I think you were perfectly clear that it wasn't going to be a re-worked riff in your post, Conor. And yeah, it is right there on the product page, but perhaps in their rabid rush to get a new riff, they missed the fine print. I haven't gotten this one, but all this hubbub over it has made me curious about the one with Fred Willard, since everyone seems to think that riff is made of pure gold and poops rainbows. I'll have to put that on my list. ;D

I missed the fine print in my rush to buy. I might have passed on it if I had read it because the version with Fred is excellent. Still, I'm glad to support Rifftrax and it allows me to keep my collection complete.

I suppose because of the other re-do's being reworked I thought this one may have had a bit more of it done differently. I still enjoyed it as the riffs are good and these guys are good at what they do it's just that it felt like a pointless exercise since the original was already good and Fred was probably the best guest so far.

I didn't think rifftrax was unclear at all about MttM. But then I've tried to apply "buyer beware" on these three-riffer redos. I think conor can attest to that, given my initial complaint about Reefer Madness.

I only rarely visit either the Rifftrax or the CT forums so forgive me if this has been hashed to death, but why? When there is so much out there begging to be riffed for the first time, why are these guys revisiting old shows that have been done before? Granted Rifftrax is putting out product like no tomorrow but I'd gladly pay $5 for a quality riff that came out only once a month or so rather than 2 or three mediocre and repetitive riffs a month. Maybe I don't understand the process or the economics involved.
