LOST - Through The Looking Glass I & II
The impact of this season three finale was lost, so to speak, on me because I knew it was coming. I accidentally found out about it before I was actually watching the show and avoiding spoilers. Still, it's a hell of a twist and really well integrated into the story.
I've heard that the third season was a bit of a disappointment for some fans, but I liked it just as well as season two. Looking forward to the next season.

The Military Channel had some really interesting programs on recently:
Conspiracy Test: the search for Nazi war criminals and how they escaped justice. Pretty interesting stuff which brings up the fact that Allied governments helped some Nazis escape because they had knowledge or information that was helpful, like Werner Von Braun, for example.
Hitler, Himmler, and The Last Days Of The Third Reich: The story of how Himmler tried to save his own skin by using Jews as hostages and exchanging them. It also talked about how Himmler finally turned against Hitler during the final days of the war.
Commanders At War: Stalingrad. A look at the turning point of WW2 in the East. The explanation of the battle was really cool, and if you don't know much about it, you will definately learn some things.

The IT Crowd 5th episode in season 1 - it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. So richly absurd, my sides ache from laughing so damn hard.
I guess the guy who plays Moss has done a lot of writing in comedy and wrote that Garth Merehgni (sp?) series.
Man I wish they'd release the rest of the seasons in the U.S. - I only have one ep left to watch for season 1. (I'm saving it for a bad day)

I finished re-watching (and watching series 7 and 8 for the first time) all of Red Dwarf last week. What a great series... now if I can only get the Ruimmer song out of my head.
Watched the season finale of House last night, pretty neat twist. Poor guy.

Charlie X - Original series Star Trek I haven't seen these in years, in light of the new movie I felt the urge to check them out.
The remastering was stellar, updated, cleaned up (no more black boxes around the ship) but not too modernized, so it fits with the overall look of the era and show.
These are a few cheesy moments but overall it was a good episode. Interesting to see Robert Walker Jr.

Anybody else kind of peeved at Smallville's bullcrap finale last night?
They bother to introduce Doomsday and all we get is five seconds of bitch slaps and hopping around before the fight is over?
The Jimmy Olsen of the series isn't the Jimmy Olsen of the Superman legacy?
Smallville was never a great series, but after last night...go to hell.

LOST - LefleurI'm taking in the latest season of LOST via iTunes, and so far I'm enjoying it. I love that we finally got to see where the island group has spent the last three years - very cool. And I finally figured out from where I knew the actor who plays Frank Lapidus. He's Jobe from The Lawnmower Man. As soon as I saw him without his beard I'm hurting my brain trying to place him. Good stuff. Hard to stop watching, but there are only so many hours in an evening. Hopefully I'll be caught up in a couple of weeks and I can stop avoiding other LOST fans

I have been addicted to the Military Channel/the Military History Channel recently. There was an awesome episode of Heavy Metal focusing on PT boats, then a BBC documentary about Goering that was amazing as well. One of my favorites was an episode of Conspiracy? that focused on the US bringing former Nazis into the CIA. But I just finished watching Band of Brothers for the billionth time, and am reeeeeally looking forward to Pacific next year.

Peter Gunn.
Me-Two in Chicago ran it after the two Charlie Chan films this afternoon!
And the Cubs won!
