It's the music. It's just so powerful!

It's the music. It's just so powerful! Yeah, the music is great, but it's nothing compared to the Ghostbusters theme. ;D

The Ghostbusters theme rocks, but it doesn't stay in my head for more than a few hours at a time.
I got home from a friends house at about 12:30 last night (this morning?) where we had watched the extended edition. That music was going through my head all the way to 2:00 PM.
And NOW that you've reminded me of the MUSIC it's BACK!
I've gotta re-read that one. I caught a line here where that guy from Gondor warns Frodo and Sam about a "darkness" in some tunnels. I don't remember that from the book.

You mean I Want A New Drug by Huey Lewis and the News? Ray Parker's "Who ya gonna call?" was a note for note rip-off. Great movie, though. Bill Murray is never not funny.
As for Lord of the Rings' place in the pantheon of trilogies, I think it depends on your view of the books first. Being that I grew up with the books, this was an answer to decades of dreaming. If you're just viewing them as blockbuster movies, I could see having a different opinion.
And thanks to everyone concerned with my health during the 11+ hour adventure. The good news is that I've seen the first 2 a few dozen times, so I know where the good restroom breaks are.

Sure, that's cool.
But as a Huey Lewis fan, I prefer "The Power of Love" from Back to the Future.

My favorite song in Back To The Future is Johnny Be Good.

Maybe you guys aren't ready for that.
But your kids are gonna love it.

Back In Time was a good song for when it came out, but it's not stayed with me like Johnny Be Good has.

Back In Time was a good song for when it came out, but it's not stayed with me like Johnny Be Good has. The Johnny B. Goode scene was classic, but growing up on the movies and not to mention that cheesy animated show, I guess Back In Time sticks with me more... Tell me doctor where are we goin' this time? Is this the 50's or 1999? All I wanted to do was play my guitar and sing... So take me away!I don't mind! But you better promise me I'll be Back In Time! Gotta get Back In Time!
