Well I still highly doubt that it's ripped from the Scrapbook tape. I'm pretty sure they're using masters of some sort. It even says "best of the Scrapbook Tape." Face it, it is ripped directly from the scrapbook tape, not a master, the scrapbook tape. No offense, but do you know what a "master tape" is? I can't see Jim Mallon sending a VHS copy of the Scrapbook to Shout and saying, "here, copy this to DVD." As Travis said, it's highly likely they are using the Scrapbook master tapes, which were culled from the KTMA masters.

Well I'm loving that Robot is on this! I've missed soooo much that I don't remember seeing any of the others but from the sound of it I'll like them even better! I do hope for a Tomservo figure in the next one and maybe even a Gypsy somehow next year.

Sounds neat! I've been wanting to see some of the episode promos on the discs. I've watched a few on Youtube and they're fantastic. Those too will be ripped directly from the scrapbook tape, Hooray for Sinicism.

I've got my copy, and the scrapbook material looks as good as the KTMA clips from the documentary on the last set. I haven't seen other copies, so I don't know how it compares, but it looks pretty good to me.

What point is it that you're trying to make, exactly? That Shout Factory is taking things from the (out of print, not widely distributed) Scrapbook, and this is apparently horrible, for some vague reason known only to you?

I think he's just admitting he's wrong about the whole "master tape" confusion...or at least he should be...

Did I ever say it wasn't from a Master? All I'm saying is it's ripped directly from a Tape which 80% of us already own.

Face it, it is ripped directly from the scrapbook tape, not a master, the scrapbook tape. And there's no way that 80% (Really? Where did you pull that hilarious figure out of?) of people here own the Scrapbook. And even if they do, so what? These releases aren't aimed for the hardcore fans only (or specifically an even smaller segment of fans that actually bought a non-commercially available tape); they're supposed to be for both fans and newcomers. And why is putting content from something that is currently out of print (and as an extra, and not a main feature) a bad thing?

I never said it wasn't ripped from a master i said it wasn't ripped from a KTMA master. Besides the original scrapbook tapes were also ripped directly from the master. Its bad because they could be putting content that none of us have seen before. Interviews, Trailers, Promos, Specials, No we can't have any of those things, instead we get about 30 minutes of a tape we all own.

I personally don't own it, and every MSTie I personally know (fans, but not going on a message board and discussing each joke level of fan) does not own it.
