Hiking is my sport of choice. Mostly because it's the only thing to do around here other than swimming in ice-cold mountain streams. I enjoy taking a good long sojourn up to the top of the mountain every once in a while. It's neat to see what you can find if you just look. My favorite place to hike, however, is along the banks of wooded streams. You find all sorts of neat things washed up on shore, you can find places you can ford the stream, you can see exposed tree roots from where the stream has washed away some of the dirt, you can find any number of critters. There's something just so peaceful about walking along running water.

These day I Golf and that's about it (I go to the cheaper public course)
In the old days I was a pretty good tennis player with a killer serve.
I sucked at Base and Basketball
But I was a decent football player. Only I wasn't part of the jockstraps "in crowd". I remember once in PE our team was getting slammed, the brainiacs were befuddled and I said, "Look, crapheads, no one is covering me, throw me the ball"
And they said, "If your drop it we'll kick your ass"
So they threw it to me -TOUCHDOWN- yay! I go back to the huddle and all I get is a... "Your lucky you caught that, dumbass"
After that I became a boxer and got to punch the crapheads in the face.... that was fun. I wasn't real fast though (which meant I got punched in the face a lot as well) and had to rely on "The Hammer of God" (he, he) which is what I named my right cross. Man, did I have a powerful right cross.
