Wow. Nice, Solgroupie! Is that a brand new car?
Did you have to campain the parents to get that?
I got a brown '72 Ford LTD thrust upon me when I was 16, around 1978. What a boat. But it was a good looking car if I shined it up. Took me to many a concert.

nah, i was a total brat when i was a kid. not obnoxious (overly), but pretty spoiled. they surprised me with it. we had just moved from tennessee to maryland and i think my parents knew me having a car would help me make friends easier. and it was new. i was terrified to drive it the first few weeks after i got it.

Good thing you've moved on from your brattiness...

My first car was a used 1963 Volkswagan Beetle. I loved it. It was reliable and cheap to drive which made it the ideal, if not the sexiest, car for a teenager. I did have a rich friend that had some of the best 1960's muscle cards. I got to ride in the original GTO, the original Camero, The original Dodge Charger. They were all great cars. Ah, those were the days my friend.

Yes. Ferraris sound like their happy place is at about 8,000 RPM.

My new car I just bought last weekend! Hey, I really needed one - my old car was getting, well, old. This baby had less than 700 miles on it when I bought it. I have never driven a car this new and it is kind of freaking me out, honestly.

LOL, that’s the same car I drive except mines blue. I love my Honda Fit. Congrats on a smart buy. Congrats Jenny. But can you lie down in the back, like a Hearse? Actually you can! The back seats fold down so that everything is flat. You can fit a lot of stuff back there.

And even my husband, who is very tall and worries about having enough headroom, was pleasantly surprised to find that the Fit has more headroom than the Civic we used to have. It feels ginormous inside!

Yeah, I’m 6’2 and I have more than enough room. The other thing I love about it is that it’s so small and maneuverable that I can do all kinds of crazy maneuvers with it that I wouldn’t have been able to do with my old car. Little cars are fun to drive.
