Has anyone seen all of these yet? Any consensus on which are the best? The shorts were great I thought but I’m not sure where to start with the others. Right now I’m thinking maybe Plan 9, since I’ve never seen it, and either Missile to the Moon or House on Haunted Hill. Is Carnival of Souls any good? Plan 9 was my favorite of the bunch. After that I would go with Night of the Living Dead and Missile to the Moon. Carnival of Souls is a close fourth and definitely worth checking out. Reefer Madness is a good trax as well. A lot of others liked House on Haunted Hill but I thought it was average. Swing Parade had it's moments but all the musical numbers tended to defeat them in many scenes. The only one I really did not care for was Little Shop of Horrors.

Howard dangfish is right!
Or at least I agree. Little Shop didn't do it for me though it had moments. The rest are good or better.

I just bought the new shorts collection and they had an option for purchasing the physical DVD. Do they not have an option for physical DVD for their movies? I haven't checked so I just wondered. Only the Public Domain movies like Voodoo Man and Planet of Dinos. The other movies we only sell the mp3 commentary, that way we don't have to get rights to the movies in order to sell them.

to torgospizza: I just went to the "how to make your own Rifftrax DVD" and my head's about ready to explode! lol Much of the terminology is totally lost on me, and I'm certain I don't have the hardware to do such a thing as syncing a dvd with the commentary onto a whole new format. However, if I could download the commentary from the movie into my iTunes library, I would be interested in giving it a try. Another reason why I haven't made more of an effort to do is is more simple: they never seem to riff a movie that I have in my DVD library. I can't remember everything they've done, but everytime I see RT coming out with a new riffing project, it always seems to be a movie that I don't own yet, so it would only be more costly. The only one that jumps to mind is The Dark Knight, which I have in iTunes as well as DVD. I'll look at the list of all Rifftrax releases again, but what I like and what Rifftrax likes to riff don't seem to mesh.

Yeah, you definitely don't have to do the merging. Importing the mp3 into itunes and playing it there while you watch the DVD on another player is how most people actually use RiffTrax.

to conoratrifftrax: that makes me feel alittle better. I should be able to download it to my iTunes library without a problem.
