Got an e-mail touting a New Years Eve event in Glenside, PA where they will be doing a THREE-MOVIE MARATHON! Wow! Even bigger news (particularly to those of us who don't live anywhere NEAR Glenside, PA), are two new movie titles! Here's the meat of the e-mail: Well, we know what we're doing for New Year's Eve this year, do you? We'll be performing a 3 MOVIE MARATHON live at the Keswick Theatre in Philadelphia (more specifically, Glenside, PA). Tickets go on sale this Saturday!

Those of you who attended our sold-out shows at the Trocadero earlier this year needn't worry about repeats, we're coming back with 3 different movies than last time:
"War of the Insects" "Samson and the Seven Miracles" Then we'll ring in the New Year and after midnight, "Frankenstein’s Castle of Freaks"Cool! Here's a trailer to "Samson", but I can't find much about "War of the Insects", other than it's a Japanese sci-fi/horror flick from 1968 featuring (drum roll please)..... insects attacking people! www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4HO28UjJ3c

This sounds like a fantastic event. I wish I could be there, but that's not going to happen. Either way, I like the movie selection.

Love, love, love them doing a sword-and-sandal movie! Can't wait to complain that it hasn't come out on DVD yet.

I'll be in the area for Christmas but we have to be back here for New Years. Bummer, but hey they'll have some more live shows this Spring so I'll be there for those. (Hoping for Seattle or Chicago next year.)

I think I'm going to be able to make this! It's only about 5 or 6 hours away from me driving... and I've never been to Philly except for a quick run through the airport... so yeah! Woot woot!

I would love to make these shows. I'm actually off the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve, so time off work isn't a problem. Money and travelling from Detroit to Philly in winter may be the issues. I have to think about this.

That's a real marathon. For the performers, and for the audience. I expect a few will be dozing off from all the booze during the last movie. And some of the audience may nod off too!

I don't have the money for that, especially since I start paying student loans back next month. I'll be lucky if i can eat ramen every night for dinner once those start being paid back...

My friend, I wish you could afford it. They are so good live, you really have to see them to believe them. They are wonderful.
