The second Matrix rifftrax remains one of the funniest riffs since MST3k went off the air. My only concern is that this film went from the "watchably stupid" of the last film to "painfully stupid". I am not exaggerating when I say this film has given me a headache every time I've sat through it.

I agree, the second trax was sooooo good. One of their best (pt. 1 wasn't too bad either) so I'm very excited for this one. Hope they close this series with a bang.

This is good news. I actually liked the first Martix trax a bit more but they were both great and I'm happy they are rounding out the trilogy.

I've only watched the second one a couple times. I like it, but whenever I think of putting it in I remember that endless underground dance scene with the elevator-thrash music and I usually change my mind.

I always thought the entire franchise was pretentious crap, but of the three the last one deserves the most scorn. I've been anticipating this RT for awhile now.

I agree with you cornjob - they way everone speaks in that... grave... overcooked... manner. Boy, these movies were full of themselves.
After watching for a bit I realized that I'd never, ever seen this flick. After the second one I gather I couldn't bear to sit through another and didn't give two beans about how it ended.
I still haven't seen it all the way through as I fell asleep in my chair at the midway point! What I heard of the riffing was funny, though not as steady and out and out hilarious as the 2nd. On par with the 1st.

I've only seen The Matrix (un-riffed) and now I have access to both sequels.
By the way, which one had an appearance by Jean-Claude-Gosh-Darn, from Future War?

The second one - he's pretty recognizable as one of the upgraded agents, particularly (if I recall correctly), during the big highway action scene. I don't believe he was in the third film.

I've never met a Matrix movie I liked but they've made excellent Rifftrax so far. I buy them all.
