Has anyone seen The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra! ? It's a movie out this year which is a total throwback to MST quality films. It's filmed in black and white SKELETOVISION, features crappy special effects, a tantalizing dance from outer space, and a whole lot of other really amusing stuff. I can't accurately describe it. But watch the trailer www.sonypictures.com/movies/thelostskeletonofcadavra/ and prepare to be dazzled by the supreme shock sensation of our time! Betty, you know what this meteor could mean to science. It could mean actual advances in the field of science! I HAVE RISEN!

That could be interesting. I bet the people who made that are huge fans of MST3K. Exactly when does it come out?

I just watched the preview. What a riot! The part with the monster looking thing, dancing/fighting (or whatever) with the skeleton had me laughing pretty hard. I wanna see this.

[glow=green,2,300]I would like to add a few more suggestions of movies that are must sees because they have severe MST3K quality. Mind you, I do own these movies and yes I am a sado masochistoic individual. But I digress. In no specific order, here they are:
Nukie: If you loved ET, you'll really hate this movie. Highlight of the movie is when the computer at the Not-NASA Space Installation tells the bitchy lady scientist, "You suck!"
Nemesis 2: Though I haven't watched the first one, I did watch this one which shows brief snippets of the first one in the opening credits but generally the movie has npothing to do with the first one so it's no great loss if you missed out on the first one. But anyway, how does the fact that the first half of the movie is all in Swahili with no subtitles? If that doesn't impress you, what about the fact it stars a manly looking female bodybuilder with no acting ability?
Nemesis 3: This is supposed to be a continuation of the second movie, but it's more confusing than the previous movie. Not only that but it has the worst CGI I have ever seen in a movie. And if that's not enough for you, there are two more female bodybuilders in this movie who play cyborg assasins who laugh everytime they cause death, destruction and chaos.
Inframan: Words just cannot describe this movie. It's like a combination of Godzilla, Power Rangers and an acid trip. I highly recommend it.[/glow]

A good couple good ones The Reanimater: it's just so stupid! Plot is some guy has found this formula to bring creatures back to life. It starts out with him bringing back a cat, it becomes increadably violent and nearly kills some one before he can rekill it. For some reason he thinks that now it's ready to be tried on humans, well, it works, and it doesn't, some other creepy doctor hits on a girl....but if you can't stand movies with frontal nudity don't watch it. Snow white, The horror story: I think that's what it's called, any way it changes things around, the stepmother actually goes crazy because of the mirror, it wasn't scary...well I did jump once, but that was because my friend unexpectedly screamed beside me, scaring the crap out of me, but anyways it's a must see, I would have watched it again, but for some reason the video store got rid of it....(I wonder why,,,)

Gah, I have to wait until March 12th. It doesn't look like they used film, which is a shame. Kind of takes away from the feel.

Try "Shark Zone" and "Werewolves on Wall Street" if you want some direct-to-video Mstie-able cheese...
