So what is the status on this? I take it since there hasn't been a post in this thread since May that it won't be available this Christmas. Basically my post above still describes the situation at the moment. Still chugging along on Jaws currently, so yeah, it definitely won't be ready by Christmas time. That would make for a very nice time to release it though, wouldn't it? Keep the faith, everyone - I know it's been quite a while, but we have by no means forgotten about this project. I keep hoping that during this down time we can continue to accept more scripts from latecomers. So yeah, any latecomers reading this, you can still help out. The more scripts we get, the quicker the actual process will be once we really get started. I appreciate you checking in, dph. Whenever this comes to fruition, we'll do everything we can to make it worth the wait.

No problem Raja. I'm not online much anymore so I wanted to check in. Still looking forward to this.

So the holidays have rolled around and got me to wondering....whatever happened to this project? Did it just curl up and die?

Did you guys keep going? I feel for you on Rifftrax getting theirs out first. On the Cinematic Titanic project we started a similar project riffing The Prom: It's a Pleasure. We wrote our script in about three months, then I found Joshway's riff of it but still could stand by what we wrote because the two scripts only had maybe one joke in common. Then I got bogged down in real life stuff and was also trying to add too much post production logo and editing that I still am not great at yet for a nicer VOD release, and I put it aside for a while. Picked it up again and re-edited the script some years later, and then Bridget and Mary Jo released their riff of it. Disheartening for firstness sake, but we're not quitting and neither should you.
More than one riffer can riff a film and the Cinematic Titanic group's riff is still happening because we have different perspectives than the pros and I am confident we will release entirely different jokes. I hope your riff happens too and would be glad to help write on it if you have some dead air to fill!
