And don't forget the Shmenge brothers with the Cabbage rolls and coffee. Just look at Eugene Levy in this pic. What a guy!! That face he's making just kills me!

Speaking of the Shmenges, did you ever see the one where they were doing a tribute to the music of John Williams? I'll never forget them doing the theme from Jaws with Candy wearing a shark head while playing his clarinet. And yeah, Levy's face kills me too.

When I go to another board for a show that I like now (Let us say, THE OFFICE) and there is a eleven year old who just got into the show but it is going of the air soon due to the British vs. American television war and she is upset about it and doesn't get the jokes. But other than that, nope, I won't grow out of it.

One of the things I loved on SCTV were the news segments, like when Earl is eating dinner while doing the news. Now that was brilliant.

Even when they didi the news the humor wasn't so much on "joke" news but still character driven. Floyd and Earl!

I loved the impressions. Dave Thomas as Bob Hope, Martin Short as Jerry Lewis, Rick Moranis as Francis Ford Coppolla -- all great stuff. And who could forget The Battle of the PBS Network Stars, with Mister Rogers boxing Julia Child? A classic.

Levy as Floyd the barber is too much.
