TCM is just plain awesome this month (Kurosawa movies and all).
There's also a Harryhausen fantasy triple feature later this month.

I'm watching Beast from 20,000 Fathoms now. Neat monster. Bad dialog! Sort of like Deadly Mantis so far. They even referred to those mastadons again. Damn Siberians ruin everything!

I think it was. I liked the panicky crowds in NYC, and that lone cop that figured he could kill the Beast with his pea-shooter...CHOMP! (gulp)
At the beginning everyone is so proud of "all the things that we learned" by having a A-bomb test in the Arctic? Did they learn that ice can melt?
