Next Friday we are ousting Comcast from our home. They kicked Warner Cable out of our area due to some slimy underhanded political deal and from that moment our cable TV started going to crap. I will say that their cable modem is one of the best but the TV? forget it. We had basic with Warner, but Comcast immediately yanked Turner Classic Movies, The Travel Channel and National Geographic when they took over The picture on the few channels we do watch has been full of static and lines for some months now. Every 4 months or so they pull another channel off the basic package and claim its gone Hi DeF and tell us we need to get a premium upgrade to get it back. When we lost the History Channel last month we started seriously looking around and found a better deal with AT&T. I will be sorry to lose the cable modem, but I am glad to be getting some of my favorite channels back.

The only cable company I can get is comcast, they switched over something so you have to get some box to get channels other the the local CBS, ABC, etc, the first set came but the number on the invoice didn't match what was on the box so it didn't work, I tried to call them, e-mail, and use there chat room, they didn't understand, so I returned them sent an angry email to them a manger called told me she'd send two more out, they never came, the third set just plane didn't work so I returned them and haven't tried since, in short comcast just sucks

Believe it or not, AT&T is better than Comcast. I speak from experience.

Until real cable deregulation takes place most of us are severely limited in our choices. I went with DISH for TV a couple years and have been very pleased with them. Time Warner is our only choice for broadband. Their speeds are mediocre at best and their service is expensive.
