This lasts until April 8th. I know we have some silent movie and Buster Keaton fans so I thought I'd mention this. This includes the pricey box set... The Art of Buster Keatongoing for around $99, which is a considerable savings (the lowest I've found it before was $130) - $99 is still a wad of cash, so I'm debating and looking at the budget. Other notable titles include Battleship Potemkin, Broken Blossoms and Diary of a Lost Girl (but not "Pandora's Box", which is Criterion BTW)

Thanks so much for this! I've been stalking that Buster Keaton set and didn't know about the sale! Guess I'm not the only one since it's currently out of stock! But nice to finally be able to buy it .

Oops, here's the link to the actual Kino sale page... Deep DiscountAnd yup, they'll take a debit same as a credit card. Then 11 feature films and 21 shorts worth of Keaton-y goodness, here I come! ...when I get my debit card in a few days to replace the one that was destroyed. A race against time!

I have come to the conclusion that anything on Kino is worth a look.

Well, I ended up missing DD's sale... but I was so pumped for getting The Art of Buster Keaton that I ordered it from a highly rated 3rd party dealer on amazon.com. $130 wasn't a bad price for all the content.
-and it arrived today! Thing of beauty.

Bah, I missed this one. Kino is a great company; their edition of Nosferatu is the best version out there. I still need to pick up Metropolis from them.
