You gotta love In-N-Out. I know I do!...I enjoy the secret menu, and the food, of course! I usually always have to make a trip there every couple of weeks. Haha...Man. Now I want a hamburger. Double double, and animal style fries...anyone else? =D Attachments:

If only we had IN-N-Out here. I see it as a metaphor for the unattainable we all strive for in life.

Back when I worked on ships, we were in Long Beach every Sunday, and we always sent the orchestra drummer out for "supplies". I think half of us nursed the burgers for the week.

I live in NY.
I have heard of this hyped up burger place with the annoying menu...I'm still not sure if it's real though.

I've heard of and want. None within a thousand miles of here, though. No White Castles, either. I'm almost sure it would be worth moving for, though.

I read the link to the story about ordering a 100x100, which was interesting and disgusting. Not a bad price, either. But alas, I cannot eat food like this any more; my body just won't take it. Enjoy your burgers.

There are no In-N-Out-Burger establishments in Oregon either But I have heard nothing but good things about them. I guess a new place recently opened in Salt Lake City so one can hope A Five Guys Burgers & Fries opened here in late May and I must say their burgers are quite awesome. Yum Yum. Attachments:

Alas, we do not have them.
Chicago, here. Gold Coast Dogs has a great burger, to say nothing of Vienna Beef hot dogs!
Growing up in downstate Illinois, there was (and still is) a cinderblock building on a lot with lots of parking called "Wally's". Wally Knue has run it for years, and they have the BEST, no argument, BEST cheese burgers with grilled onions I have ever had in all my years of eating.

We just got one too, and have been contemplating giving it a go. Now that I've got some recommendations we'll do it.

I've seen a few "Hot and Ready Burgers" around the midwest. I can't decide whether that or "In-N-Out Burger" is a less appropriate name for food.

the sack of fries Five Guys gives is incredible! it's like a bottomless pit! A Five Guys just opened up near the River. It's an hour drive, but if I'm going to be in the area, I like to stop. I make fries the same way at home, so I don't usually get a sack of fries (just a whole lot of peanuts), but the burgers are great for fast food, and the fries are pretty tasty. A Sonic's just opened up in the same town, too. Their food is so-so, but the fact that they have car hops is one heck of a novelty. And I think it's the only Sonic's in New York.
