Anyone besides me in the path of Hurricane Earl?
Hopefully it will skirt to the east of me. If it wobbles a bit to the west then its ass kicking time again. The ass kicked being mine. My fingers are crossed.
Good luck to any in its path.

So far just clouds outside, with very minimal wind. The "worst" is supposed to be overnight. Even though the media is making this look like the second coming of Katrina, all the radar info I'm getting is painting a different picture. All the heavy wind is out in the ocean/outer banks, and the storm is moving very quickly. I think we'll be okay here.
("Here" being roughly an hour northwest of Skyroniter)
Maybe I'm just optimistically deluding myself though, as my non-Government-Agent job is with utilities, most of which are directly affected by stuff hurricanes do like power outages and flooding. Thereby ensuring a VERY busy tomorrow.

Appears we might get 60 mph winds as it slides by. Looks like you'll be able to goof off in the storage room again tomorrow, Raja.

I live about an hour from the Outer Banks, but the latest I've heard is we may just get the edge of it and that's about it.

Not a problem at all for me. Looks like I'll be able to goof off in the storage room at work again today.
