I think it was yesterday that I opened up one of my AutoCAD so that I could make a new rendering to offer as a wallpaper on my website. However, after I was done, I realized that the resolution on my notebook is not the same as the resolution on the our home PC. Also, considering the wallpapers I've already composed, I'm wondering if I'm not catering to today's demands.
So, I thought I would throw up a little poll to see what screen resolutions this forum's users are operating on.
The PC before this one was 1024px by 768px. This new one, however, is 1600px by 900px. I'm not sure if there are people who still operate on 1024px by 768px. When I was a draftsman for a firm in Perrysburg, we had terminals that had one screen next to the other! That was pretty neat and it allowed us to have two full screen applications up simultaneously. You could have AutoCAD in one screen and Microsoft Excel in the other. However, I'm not quite sure how the double desktop would react to wallpaper; I just worked there.

What's the easiest way to find out that information?

Right now, I have a dual monitor setup with the laptop at 1280 X 800 and the external monitor at 1280 X 1024. I have an older laptop at a narrower widescreen resolution, and a desktop at 1280 X 1024, so I'm used to modifying wallpapers to fit my screens. On my dual setup, I don't know of a way to customize the wallpaper for the extended monitor. It simply duplicates the primary wallpaper, and letterboxes it as shown in the attached picture. With a dark wallpaper, it looks ok, but otherwise it's a bit irritating. Attachments:

1920x1080, although that may change, seeing as how I get motion sickness (which I've never gotten before) playing first person view games.

And, ironically, you probably still have too many icons on your desktop.
