Anyone else watching this? I am totally hooked. Great performances, lush productions values, and a fascinating blend of history an fiction that I find irresistible. New episode tonight!
And say what you will about Master Ninja's Tim Van Patton, he has proved himself to be a fine director with his work on this series. Anyway, I liked him in Class Of 1984, too.

It's a great series, and it's great to see Steve Buscemi as the lead after so many great creepy supporting roles. My favorite scene so far was Chalky and the Klansman -- Michael K. Williams (Omar on "The Wire") is such a badass.

Agreed, he is a badass and that scene was great. His delivery of that story was downright savory.
I would have to say my favorite part of the show is Rothstien, played by the brilliant Michael Stuhlbarg. I find every moment of his screen time fascinating, however limited it has remained up to this point.

I'm really enjoying this show, too. Poor, damaged Jimmy Donaghy is a very interesting character. The characterizations of the women I find fascinating, too. Even the Madonna on the show is a whoo-ah.
