This surprised me a bit. sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ball_dont_lie/post/Kobe-Bryant-s-catching-flak-for-that-Call-of-Du?urn=nba-287113I mean, really? I thought it was a great commercial. The secretary with the shot gun, the concierge guy answering his phone in the middle of the firefight. Classic Rolling Stones tune. And the first time I saw it, I said to myself "Is that Kobe Bryant? Cool!" I think it illustrates the game as escapist fare for everybody, famous or blue collar, but those who rally against any kind of video game violence aren't going to get it. It's too bad. I think Bryant is getting unfairly singled out in this.

What's fun is that most of the people who get mad at "violence in video games" are the same people who probably go home and watch CSI, Law and Order, love a good action flick, and are fans of pro football.
But violent video games? Well, that's unacceptable.

That's one of the first commercials I have enjoyed in ages. As a person who despises commercials with every fiber of my being, that's saying something.
Sounds to me like they're just making a scene so as to draw attention to their cause.
