This was a good thread. Time for resurrection. I know that's more Easter and all, and Christmas is about lying about having sex with your husband's brother but getting caught when you get knocked up virgin births, but...whatever, I got lost in the metaphor. We need more Christmas around here. Messy Christmas.

And a little mea culpa. I kept saying that Slayer Christmas lights video was fake. It wasn't, or not completely. That guy's become a mini-celebrity among the (surprisingly) small band of people who choreograph lights to music. So, my bad. He apparently does some heavy editing, which accounts for the stars jumping around, but if you showed up at his house, you would indeed see a fun show.

My son brought up the stack of Christmas movies, and his first choice: CT's version of SCCTM.
I was pleased beyond measure.
And I'd forgotten the line, as Santa pulls four children in close for a hug: "Drink from my many nipples! It's egg nog!"
We both laughed more than we should have while his mother looked on disapprovingly.
