Seems like almost every day I have a new favorite. It's now Project Moonbase. You don't even have to watch the movie, the cover sums up its entire meaning perfectly.

Some of these movies have so little detail to them, that I'm relieved when something jumps out. Short ties and chauvinism, check. Time to make a cover. For any Simpsons fans, there's an extra non sequitur joke on that one. If you're not a Simpsons fan, well, it won't make any sense at all. This first one is a good example of what I mentioned. The only thing I ever remember about Space 99 is what a bland Star Trek ripoff it is. My cover wound up being just a wallpaper someone had made, tweaked a little. I just couldn't come up with a single, good idea for an original cover.

Okay, so Invasion of the Neptune Men just made me laugh out loud, but I really, really like your cover for Attack of the the Eye Creatures. It's a perfect concept, taking the theme of "eyes", "looking", etc. and turning it in on itself, while simultaneously referencing the movie directly. The two sleazeballs are watching the monitors--which are showing multiple eyes--yet the guys are shown from behind, as if they too are being watched. The fact that the image is treated with an almost photo-negative effect puts in mind that this is perhaps the POV of a non-human species. . .perhaps an Eye Creature? Or. . .are WE the Eye Creature watching them? Hmmm.....getting deep!
But I'm over-analyzing. Great, great, great work all around. Are you sure you don't do art design for a living??

Neptune's trident looks like a giant sucker. Like a cheap sucker you'd get from a giant Nazi dentist.

Ha, that does kind of look like a cheap sucker. Nazi Poseidon will be a laughing stock at the evil gods convention. Thanks a lot guys. I love the Eye Creature analysis. And here I thought the best part about it was a double "the" in the title. Also, I definitely don't get paid for this stuff. In fact, the last art class I took was in grade school. Here's the only original work I can remember doing, and it's digitally painted and steals liberally from a classic "Far Side." I made it for some friends of mine when I finally reached a breaking point on the Avatar/James Cameron hype. In short, I can't draw, but I've enjoyed fooling around with Photoshop since they bundled it free with Windows (now GIMP, since it's free). And a couple more

Unless you're just joking, you're might feel like Lisa the Simpson when you read this. The director's first name is actually Richard. link

We usually can't see the forest through the trees. It's especially cruel to say there's a hidden message in something, like I did.
