I saw the DVD cheap, so I thought, what the heck...
For those who don't know, it's a "Mad Movies", "Kung Pow", "What's Up Tiger Lily" type of deal. Where two guys from "Firesign Theater" put voiceovers on some old Republic serials. They used to air on "Nightflight" And strangely, it's not as funny as I remembered it. There were a couple of big laughs, the scene with the Rocketman and the Hash bomb still cracked me up. But it was nowhere near MST's level of funny. As a matter of fact, "Hellcats" and "Hamlet" made me laugh a lot more.
It's odd how some things don't hold up over the years.

I reccomend watching it again. The number of viewings is directly proportionate to how funny it is. I got so much more out of it upon repeat viewings

Oh I've seen it before, several times. It's just that sometimes, somethings you thought were funny as a teenager, no longer strikes your funny bone when your in your 40's.
The things I remember laughing at are embarassingly stupid to me now.
