I was 35 seconds in before I remembered I could stop it. You made it further than I did. And just what is the MST connection?

Read the article. It implies that Michael J. Nelson helped the video rise in popularity on YouTube by Tweeting about how bad it was.

There is a price to pay for the greatness of MST-type riffing. See Hobgoblins II.

Hey, don't diss autotuning, it has saved my bacon. sure, but i bet you don't use it the way ms. black (or for that matter, kim kardashian etc.) use it. i can see using it as a tool, if you're a sound engineer at a live show and the vocalist has bad monitors or what have you. but they're using it as a crutch.

ok, i watched the whole thing, having to be resuscitated twice from cardiac arrest. because that's a service i provide. if it weren't for the mildly adult themes -- of, you know, "partying" -- this would actually be an excellent learning tool for second graders. you know, to memorize the days of the week and pick up homework scheduling skills and so on. so props to rebecca black for thinking of the children.
that said, if she becomes a sensation, i'm getting on the time machine from, was it outlaw of gor?, and going back to 1971, when i was two and music still kicked ass.

True dude, in fact I know what you mean. I can't stand the deliberate overuse of Autotune. But just as with compression the proper use of Autotune goes unnoticed. But this really has no use being discuses in Gen Chat. But I'm glad we did. Rock on TheNewMads!

Somebody get MJ's quiet juice again. Pinch his nose to make him drink it.
It is oddly disturbing to think of some of the people who have gotten career bumps from MST-related projects. Most of the time it's just a better table at the cons.
This is just plain wrong.
