Very cool TJ - I didn't know we had so many industrious folks on board. Anyone ever tried to build a Crow?

Mr. Ouisch and I are both huge MST geeks, and we live in Michigan. Last Christmas the Mister surprised me with a Tom Servo lovingly crafted by Robert. I'm goofy enough that I often compliment *my* Servo when he does something adorable or funny on the show (Mr. Ouisch and I watch an episode just about every evening). After the second host segment in Giant Gila Monster, I turned to my Servo and said "You DO have a cute butt!" (Maybe I should lay off the liquor while we watch....) ;D

I have a Crow and Gypsy. My Crow is currently in need of repair. One of the shoulder joints broke and he has just one arm right now.

By tor_johnson at 2011-05-29 This is my Crow. By tor_johnson at 2011-05-29 This is my Gypsy. By tor_johnson at 2011-05-29 I went very simple with Gypsy's base. I took a square brick paver from the garden center and attached a pipe nipple with blue masonry screws. painter er all black and there you have it.

Thanks, she was actually the least expensive to build. Around $120.

To all with bots: can they be used as puppets, just like on the show, or are they for show only?

My Servo is articulated, head turns and mouth moves. I cut down the pipe under the hover skirt so he will sit flush, but other than that he can be used as a puppet.

All of mine can be used as puppets. servo has a 2" pipe nipple to hold on to with the control rod coming through there. I never got to find a battery pack to remotely operate Gypsy's eye, but do have the wires run down her neck.

I'm not able to buy or make a bot but I could get a warm, snuggly plushie version. There's a gal on DeviantArt that can make snuggly huggly plushie anything! You can commission stuff from her. I haven't ordered anything from her yet but will probably do so in the future. Servo looks fab as a plushie! So round an' fat an' cute an' snuggly!

I tried to get a fully built Servo off of E-Bay about 2 years ago or so. Had the winning bid for quite a few days, then with about 10 hours to go before the bid ended, some person crashed in and outbid me by a ridiculous amount of money.
I wept......like an infant.....
