I've been a MST since 1990. I've been an Admin on this board since 2003. And I just now, finally, at long last, it's about time, what took you so long, acquired my first 'bot. It's a life-size Servo, made by my man Robert in Michigan. He goes by sledge_riprock on eBay, where he has a new Servo up every week, and a Crow about once a month. It's great work, and I'm quite satisfied. The squat crimson pig is much bigger than I was expecting. He currently hovers on my office armoire, looking down on me with a condescending gaze of superiority and disappointment. But the best part of the story is how the deal materialized: Back in 2006, I grabbed a copy of Volume 10 box set. Knowing that the Godzilla episode wouldn't stay in print for long, I kept it on my shelf as a collectible- still in its shrink-wrap. After almost 5 years, I started to wonder just what I would do with it. I've seen them listed for $500+ on eBay & Amazon, but I never saw them actually sell for that much. Plus, I didn't want to be one of those guys who ripped off another MST, or got all sweaty at the thought of something "still in its original packaging!" So I offered it in trade for a freshly-built Servo, and Bob's your uncle. Just another case of MSTie on MSTie crime support. And now you know the rest of the story. Good day. "I'm huge."

I think that's a pretty fair deal.
Servo looks great.

Always dreamed of the day I became stupid rich so I could splurge on a Servo. I see a guy makes them and sells them on ebay. They are gorgeous. Congratulations!

Somewhere there's a MSTie who saved up his hard earned cash dreaming of a volume 10 set with Godzilla vs. Megalon only to reach the store with it out of stock that hates you, Mr. A.

I only bought the one set. I was that MSTie with his hard earned cash. I just opted not to open it when I got home. A good choice in hindsight.

Congrats to the proud, new papa.
I want one! (And Crow, too!)
When I win my millions, I'll get them.

Robert does an excellent job with his bot replicas. I bought a Tom Servo just like that from him several months ago and, despite the rather steep price these things go for, it was well worth every penny.
Oh, and your avatar is awesome by the way. It's a crime that they killed that show so quickly.

Congrats Mr. A - That's very, very cool. And a nice, fair trade I think. I'd love to have one of those, but Lord knows where I'd find room for him.
