One of the most popular, and most forgotten, alternative bands of the 1990s was Crash Test Dummies. The Dummies, led by Brad Roberts and backup singer Ellen Reid, performed such classic hits as Superman's Song, The Psychic, Afternoons and Coffeespoons, and A Worm's Life. What is arguably their best classic hit, and biggest song to date is 1993's (ALL TOGETHER NOW!) MMM MMM MMM MMM. The band is often overlooked, and possibly for no reason. In case you forgot what Brad Roberts sounds like, here's a refresher course: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7H-czMueCwY. My question to you is: Were the Dummies overrated?

What I know of them is limited. Despite some teasing it took, I liked the MMMM song because it was unqiue. Liked the video too.
But I thought their cover of XTCs Peter Pumpkinhead was pretty flat, like an elevator music version of XTC.
That's the sum and total of my knowlege of CTD
