This is a place to discuss the meaning of your avatar and signature.
I'll go first. The quote "Sometimes I think that the surest sign there is intelligent life out there is that none of it has tried to contact us." Is from a Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. "I am the North Wind." is my all-time favorite quote from an MST3K movie. The avatar is a pic of Europa, Jupiter's moon.

Ummm, well, mine's pretty self explanatory. My sig is what I consider to be one of the greatest MST3K quotes ever, from the movie, after Crow tries to dig out of the Satellite. My avatar is, well, Tom Servo. That one explains itself. I'm gonna try to change the pics on a regular basis though.

I've had several signature's and avatar's
My first sig was a spaced out "Hello. I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the master is away."
Another sig I had said "Hell's Kitchen is my neighborhood. I prowl the rooftops and allyways at night watching through the darkness, forever in darkness, a guardian devil" which is one of my favorite lines from one of my favorite movies, Daredevil.
My current sig is a smallened pic that I had someone on another message board. It's a pic from the episode Soultaker in which Mike is dirty because the shower is broken. The line "Why don't you lick me?" is said several times throughout the show.
The other part of my sig is just a blatant plug for my fan fictions down in Crow's Art. I went on hiatus for a while and concentrated on my reviews, but I'm almost ready to start again.
My first avatar/custum text combo was a small pic of Homer Simpson and it said "Would you like a pizza?" or something, I don't know, but it was really stupid. I don't know what I was drinking.
My second was a priceless pic of Arnold Schwarzenegger from Total Recall with the text "the Impish Officer of DEATH!" which was a variation of a Mike riff from my favorite short Last Clear Chance.
My current avater/text combo is my new hero, the "She Bangs" dude from American Idol. I don't think I need to explain the text.

My recently changed avatar (I finally figured out how to get one from the web, I'm so stupid up until now!) is of my video game hero, Earthworm Jim. Best video game of all time, and the sequel was hilarious.
The signature on the bottom is my favorite riff from PARTS: THE CLONUS HORROR, not that its one of my favorite episodes (but it is good) I just like the riff.
And my name, al27, is a combination of my first name, Al, and my birthday, 2/7. Also, I'm a huge "Weird Al" Yankovic fan, and the 27 has something to do with that too, but most of you wouldn't get that.
No matter, fun thread though, I like it.

I do watch Home Movies, and I love it. I watched it since it was on UPN.
McGuirk is hilarious.
I'm very happy to see they're existing quite well on the CN. I was worried the show would be gone forever when UPN cancelled it.
Glad to see another fan.

My Avatar is a picture of one of the best college pranks ever, and I live in the very city it happened in. Jim Mallon and Kevin Murphy went to University of Wisconsin-Madison and Jim formed the "Pail and Shovel Party" to run for class president, he won two years in a row (a college record). The party did pranks like putting 1000 pink plastic flamingos on the lawn of Bascom Hill, but the most memorable was a submerged replica of the Statue of Liberty on Lake Monona during the winter. I am very proud of the city I live and I feel a sense of origin started here for MST3K.
