Thanks for the laughs Goober. Rest Well Sir
P.S. I actually saw him on an episode of Gunsmoke. Playing a bad guy. He did a really good job. But then of course a few episodes later he appeared as one of Festus's cousins and he was well Goober again.. LOL !
P.P.S. Barbi Benton at the end of the video is... HOT!

Oh no, not Goober, say it ain't so. Another familiar face of my youth is gone. Some of my earliest memories are of watching TAGS. Anyone remember that Twilight Zone ep he was in? I also thought he was good in that Mash ep.
So long Goob, thanks a million for the laughs.

Mrs. Shep and I watch reruns of the the Hitchcock Hour and George was excellent in more dramatic roles in 3 episodes of that series.

RIP Goober. Sorry to see you go.
Does this mean Ron Howard is the last living cast member from The Andy Griffith Show? Who else is left?

RIP Goober. Sorry to see you go. Does this mean Ron Howard is the last living cast member from The Andy Griffith Show? Who else is left? "Thelma Lou" is still alive.
