I have a fondness for game shows, especially when they offer one moment that is totally out there. Winners, losers, or just what the hell?
So let's clip the hell out of them. I was screwing around on Youtube and came across this little doozy. I'm not familiar with the show, but the page says it's called "Without Prejudice" and it aired on GSN, and a bunch of random people were gathered up to judge people fairly or something. I have no clue what the context of the show is honestly, but just wow...
And on that note, let's go lighter with Wheel of Fortune...
This one's an oldie but a goodie...
And let's close out with the Feud, shall we? SURVEY SAYS...
And I honestly have to ask, who the hell thought this was a good question?

Duuuude...I haven't seen Nick Arcade in about two decades. It's soooooo retro.
This guy was screwed over. What the hell kind of puzzle was that?
And in the throwing back racial differences a few hundred years theme of my first few vids...
But seriously, how else was she supposed to say it?
This one's overplayed, but with good reason, it;s hilarious...
And let's end on a moment of happiness...

Yeah I loved Nick Arcade too. That show is one of the reasons I' am an SNK fan. They used to show it on Nick GAS during the past decade, but that channel is no more. On the subject of video game umm game shows, Video Power was way cheesier then Nick Arcade. The host Johnny Arcade was supposed to be a game expert yet it was clear he was BSing (Of course back then anyone could claim they were the ultimate gamer).

Wow. I'm surprised that I vaguely remember that show. I would have pushed it straight into the corner of my brain until the day I died until you posted that clip.
God that host. That's painful. As a kid, his hyperactivity was no doubt amusing, but now that I'm grown up, I want to nutkick him.

Someone used to have a montage video of Johnny Arcade's more ridiculous moments. Sadly that account got suspended. The show did have a segment called Johnny on the Spot where kids get to ask him questions which revealed his expert game knowledge.(He thought the last boss of Megaman 3 was named Eight ) For more Video Power fun check out this article written by a contestant. www.lakupo.com/grblitz/vidpower.htmAnyway back to the videos. The granddaddy of WTF game show moments

Those Richard Dawson clips get me every time. September! The other versions of Family Feud just don't compare.

It would be irony if in that Newlywed clip they were thinking about the same incident. It happened in the car and all she can think about is that she took one up the ass.

Those Richard Dawson clips get me every time. September! The other versions of Family Feud just don't compare. On other forums I've been to, Ray Combs was the one people favored. However, I have a hard time watching some of his shows now due to his tragic end(Especially the ones where his whole family appeared on the show). Despite that, this was a cool moment.

As much as I love Dawson and Combs, I'll be the odd man out and say Louie Anderson needs some love.
But then again, I grew up with Life With Louie, so I'm biased.

I wasn't a fan of Louie as host. I give him credit for trying, but he wasn't suited to host a game show. On some episodes he appeared more drunk then Dawson ever did. The current Family Feud didn't really get good for me until John O' Hurley became host.
Life With Louie was cute though.

I can certainly understand that. It was kind of out of his element, and while he had comedian charisma, let's face it the Family Feud left really big shoes to fill. Dawson was legend, and Combs was fantastic. But I always enjoy watching Louie at work no matter the setting. I remember being in Vegas and seeing a sign for his standup about a decade ago. Always sad that I didn't go, but I wasn't of legal age at the time and the parents were paying the bill.
It's kind of like Drew Carey replacing Bob Barker. I'll be the first to say Drew made it his own, but seriously, who doesn't miss Bob?

It took my mom years to watch Price Is Right again. For the longest time she couldn't get adjusted to Drew.
Now about bad game show hosts, I' ve heard Patrick Wayne's stint on Tic Tac Dough was pretty awful.

I was used to Drew because he hosted Whose Line for so long. He looked really nervous his first show, but he settled in remarkably fast.
As for bad hosts, the Weakest Link lady comes to mind right away. The way Howie Mandell milked screentime during Deal or No Deal was always grating. Same goe for Bob Saget on 1 vs. 100. I'm not a big fan of the new Who Wants to be a Millionaire either, but that might have to do with the new format other than the host (though she is kind of dull). I'm biased against Jeff Foxworthy in general, though I'll admit the redneck nature of 5th Grader kind of makes him well suited for it.
There's probably more, as there was a period where I watch GSN like it was a religion.
But speaking comedian hosts, does anybody else remember Paul Reubins' short lived show You Don't Know Jack? Now THAT was an interesting and original format. I remember the one and only episode I watched, ninjas stormed the stage and Paul fought them off while the contestant answered his questions.

Most of my least favorites have been mentioned already, but I'll also throw in the guy who hosted Double Dare during its 2000 revival. It felt like a case of them trying too hard to be hip and appealing to (what was then) modern kid's tastes. Of course no one could beat Marc Summers.
I would bring up the hosts from the G4 show Arena since they didn't know much about the games being played, but I' am not sure if that falls into the realm of game shows(It felt more like it was trying to be an ESPN show, but with video games).
Here's another old Nickelodeon game show. I guarantee you that set was reused for Legends of the Hidden Temple.
