The fact that the show is being kept alive by alternative broadcast media does not mean that it's widely seen or known (unfortunately). Some shows like I Love Lucy never go off the air. You can find them even without a cable connection. The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy? Not so much. My fear is that Adam West's Batman is destined to go the way of The Lucy Show. Oddly enough, I just noticed that The Lucy Show is being brought back... by RetroTV, which recently announced plans to air MST3K.

This news broke a few weeks ago, but I forgot to post it. Street date for Batman is November 11th, 2014 on both blu-ray and DVD!
Amazon has the blu set up for pre-order as we speak, at a pricy $188. But it'll be worth every penny.

And right on the heels of that... Nananananananananananana...BOX ART! AND SPECS!For those of you wondering if the blu-ray set will be worth the extra penny, it looks as if it comes with a ton of special goodies like a Hot Wheels Batmobile and booklets, as well as digital copies on each episode! Normal special features are also listed. As to which of these will be ported over to the DVD, I imagine just the disc specs. The outside goodies look exclusive to the blu-ray set. But hey, the box art is exceptionally groovy!
