I just noticed on Satellite News that Robert L. Lippert died on this day in 1976 at the age of 67.
I suggest we all pause to remember the late, great Mr. Lippert on the anniversary of his passing... by going out and doing some rock climbing -- and bringing a camcorder along, shooting every single damn' minute of it, and then showing the unedited footage to our friends.
...or, perhaps, just cue up a playlist of Project: Moonbase, Rocketship XM, Jungle Goddess, Lost Continent, King Dinosaur, and Last Of The Wild Horses.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Lippert. Your work brought tedium to the masses. We are all the more bland because of your life.
*salutes*
