I don't know how many people care, but LucasArts' Sam and Max:Freelance Police, well into development, has been canceled today. I'm not sure how many of you even know what Sam and Max is, but let me just tell you that this release would have restored hope in adventure video games. Read the story at Mixnmojo

I am pissed off royally! I heard last night and my dreams to play Sam and Max were field stripped and burned. I loved the cartoon so much!

I had no idea it was still on. And oddly enough I've been thinking about it lately. Theres a stupid ad for some stupid PlayBox game and the first line is 'death from above!'
Sigh. I miss that show. Was it still on Fox on saturday mornings?

I'm talking about Sam and Max: Freelance Police, the sequel to Sam and Max: Hit the Road. They're computer games. The short lived cartoon series came out years after Hit the Road. I'm talking about the cancellation of a video game.
