i exploded, "ice cream!" and embarrassed my mom and effectively ruined the family. Yeah, it's a real family buzzkill when kids say precociously cute things. Damn their adorableness! That's why I never had any kids. That and no woman with a lick of sense would procreate with me.

That's why God invented booze.

i was looking forward to trying the 'cold snap' brew from sam adams - i tried it tonight, but found it didn't have much of a distinctive taste. it wasn't bad - i most always like sam adams (except for that hops tour - woof)but it didn't stand out in any real way. but i'm not an expert beer taster like crowfan.

Have not tried the cold snap. I'm guessing that's one of their spring brews. They sell it everywhere, so will try it next time I go to the store. I'll see if I can craft my own six pack with one.

Flying Dog Brewery's wonderful In-Heat Wheat Hefe Weizen. Only 4.7% alcohol but very good flavor and taste. Got to say I really enjoy this brewery. They are out of Frederick, MD. These guys did the Raging Bitch, and I also really like their K-9 Winter Lager, which has a full flavor but is gone now.
Hop Czar. This is from Bridgeport Brewery in Portland OR. The first taste was really hoppy, but I have to admit the flavor won me over. As I drank more, I didn't taste the hops, which is interesting. This is 7.5%alcohol

It's taken awhile but I finally found a craft beer that I didn't like, and maybe it's better on tap, but Hoegaarden beer didn't do it for me. The bottle said it was naturally cloudy, and it looks like urine, which is not optimal. Uses orange peel and corriander seeds. Again, it might be one of those beers, like Blue Moon, which is better on tap.

I bought a big bottle of Fat Badger from the beer tasting at Binnys some time ago. After going to the hospital to visit my bud, Matt, who had a mild heart attack, I drank pretty much a pint and six ounces of beer. I have no idea how much that is in American, but I'm pretty drunk now, so guessing it's a lot of beer.

It's an Irish style ale so it was pretty good. It had a bit of a kick to it as well. It was 7.5% alcohol. It's from a local Chicago brewery so am guessing it will not be in other areas for a bit, depending on how sales and taste test results go, but if you ever find it, I recommend it.
