Or as it says on the back of the box "Travel to another dimension of sight and sound like you've never seen or heard before!"
My birthday came and went this week and my mother and step father finally got my gift to me: the entire series of the Twilight Zone on Blu-Ray. After a lot of screaming like a 12 year old girl at a Justin Beaver concert, constant hugging, and ensuring that I will love them for all eternity, I came here to say...YAY!
I haven't popped them in yet, but I can't wait. Anybody have these? If so, gush over them to make me more excited to watch them when I get home. Looks like I'm not just going to get a lot of hours of the best television ever produced, but some loaded and quality extras too. I'm especially excited for the radio dramas, because I really enjoy those old timey radio shows. One of my favorite parts of the I Love Lucy DVDs was listening to the My Favorite Husband radio shows (I now have the Jell-O jingle perminently etched into my brain...YUM-YUM-YUM).
I'll get cracking on this later tonight.

Such a great series. I can go back to those shows time and again. Rod Serling was a genius.
Those extras sound amazing. Enjoy!

My brother in law has the dvd set that came out a few years prior to the Blus, and even those look amazing. They really did a great job on that transfer. One of my favorite aspects of the set is that they kept the bumpers in between act breaks, as well as Serling's preview for the next week and an occasional ad. It really adds to the feel of the show.
