Ox was a great wrestler and old school. RIP.

I thought of Sky's costume from last year when I heard this, too. I wasn't that familiar with him, but he sounds like a legend in his own time and beyond.
Rest well, sir.

Cool video! Shows Ox's sense of humor. I bought an autographed DVD from him on eBay. In addition to the DVD he included autographed photos... not mentioned in the auction and sent a personal note. Cool guy.

It was a tough week for the Cauliflower Alley Club -- Cowboy Bob Kelly (old Gulf Coast area face), Dr. Ken Ramey (nefarious manager) and now Ox. One of the greatest looks ever, for sure.

I remember when Ox "broke" The Assasin's nose during an interview with Gordan Solie on Championship Wrestling from Florida about thirty five years ago. It looked 100% real and I've never forgotten it. That and Mick Foley off the top of the cage are my top two WTF moments in wrestling history. Dr. Ramey was big in the Mid-Atlantic territory but it was before my time.
Reaperg, have you listened to Jim Cornette's podcast? He does a free one and a subscription based one on MLWRadio.com. I really like it, covers the territory days along with current events. Tons of other podcasts too. $15 per year to subscribe. Kevin Sullivan, Konnan, ... many others. Well worth it.

Great memories, sir. I love hearing stories about wrestling from before my time and in different parts of the country from me. I just don't have a lot of time for podcasts, I'm afraid. But I wouldn't mind hearing Cornette's and Austin's, as well as Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling.
