Tom Magliozzi co-host of NPR's hugely popular show Car Talk died Monday, at age 77 from complications from Alzheimer's disease at age 77. The elder of the two brothers, Tom earned a degree in chemical engineering from MIT and taught at Boston University, in addition to doing the popular show. Mr. Magliozzi also owned a do-it-yourself garage and did various odd jobs before becoming the host of Car Talk. i never really paid strict attention to their show, but i remember it would come on after something else i listened to on npr - i forget what it was now, but i always thought they had such a good rapport with each other and the people they advised.

I couldn't fix a car to save my life but I still enjoyed listening to them. R.I.P.
