So, are we voting yay or nay with iZombie? Because I enjoyed the hell out of the pilot.

Watched the first episode. Hadn't heard of the comic series before the show was put into production, but it was such a quirky concept that I knew I had to check it out. Of course I'm weary of the fact that it airs on the CW, because the channel's demographic pandering is what's keeping The Flash from being the greatest live action superhero series ever made (though it's still head and shoulders the best one airing this season...unless Daredevil blows it away next month), but they can still churn out a good show in spite of it.
I liked it. It had the same vibe as Veronica Mars (obviously, since it's from the same creators) but with that funky concept that makes you wonder where they're going with it. I'm a bit concerned that the idea might not have much longevity and will easily sink into formula, but I had that same feeling about House and I was pretty happy with that series as a whole. I'm interested in seeing where it goes.
As for how it compares to other DC shows that are on this year, I still think The Flash is moving along beautifully (especially this week's episode) and while Arrow is stumbling it's keeping its legs. I liked the pilot better than Constantine's but not as much as Gotham's, though the former got better and the latter got considerably weaker since last fall. Tough to tell where iZombie will fall after one episode but right now I'm ranking it around Constantine's tier.

Loved it, best pilot of the comic book based shows so far. It's different from the comic, but it still worked. I loved the characters and actors playing them. It had a great sense of humor and liked the Mike Allred drawn credits.

I thought it was pretty good. I kind of rolled my eyes when I saw the trailers for it before it aired, thinking, oh, no, more zombies, and this one for like tweeners or something, but I really enjoyed the first episode. I didn't know it was from a comic. (What ISN'T these days?, sheesh).
Hopefully they don't run out of gas too quickly.

I might look into it at some point. It seemed a bit too much like it was gonna be "Pushing Daisies, but not charming." If I'm wrong on that, though, I'll look into it.

That wasn't Major in the body bag, I hope?!? (That last one they brought in before the episode ended). The trailers for next week didn't have her freaking out or anything, so maybe he's just injured and that was someone else.

Is like everyone a zombie in Seattle or what? I don't know what they have planned for the TV series, but In the comic there's a huge army of Zombies, as well as a group of female Vampires, a Frankenstein and a Ghost and a Were-Terrier, and various other mad scientists, spirits and such... as well as 2 teams of monster hunters (one of whom are made up of monsters)... oh and a Cuthulu type that's coming to destroy the world. So far this show small scale compared to that.

I had a feeling she was hallucinating when she told Major the truth. It was too quick and went too well.
Also: whenever I watch this show, I crave Chinese food.

And the real Major did everything but kick a potted plant in his takedown of Liv's hopes of telling him the truth about why she left him.
