The help I need involves font faces. I'm not real happy with the pre-set typography that MSN provides. The pre-set stuff makes building the site easy, but there are limits. So I'm experimenting: What I need you to do is click on this page... Untamed YouthLook it over, especially the little box with Claude Rains info in it. Then click on the "Next" link at the bottom and look over the font on that page as well (should be Black Scorpion). On Untamed Youth I've tried used Comic Sans MS as the primary font face, then Ariel. My questions: 1) Can you see the difference in the fonts from the two pages? If so... 2) Is the font consistant in "Untamed Youth" including the box with Claude Rains info. 3) Is the font easier to read in "Untamed Youth"? Is it smoother, cleaner. (I notice in italics in the other pages (I.E: Black Scorpion) that the font is ragged, thin and difficult to read on some computers which is why I ask) Thanks for all the help. I'm trying to get a feel for how the new font face looks on different servers.

I think I like Black scorpion better. Times New Roman?

The font is consistant, but there is a big gap right below "Mamie Van Doren, in her undies!"

The font is consistant, but there is a big gap right below "Mamie Van Doren, in her undies!" I think that's because the M is a larger font size.

I think that's because the M is a larger font size. Yeah, that's true. Just ignore me.

I'm a Netscape browser user, and it all comes out clean for me.
I like the Untamed Youth page better. I'm a bigger fan of sans serif fonts like Ariel. They just look cleaner than serif fonts (like Times New Roman).

When I geta huge gap between the bottom of a photo and the type, I use a large font at the top of the review to smooth it out (but yes, it leaves a gap between the first two sentences. Not too large on the WEBTV at home or the PC at work. But is it gigantic and distracting on yours Ator?)
And the Black Scorpion looks better. Clearer? I was on another unit today and the type looked real thin and ragged (In the main review section) which is why I'm fooling around with the type.
Edit: yeah I'm with you sampo, I've always preferred san serif on the screen at least.
Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it sincerely.

I like your old font a lot better. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

It's just amazing how different it looks on different computers.
On the Library comps, it looks beautiful, perfectly balanced and clear.
At Kinkos it looks like crap. Too spread out, the san-serif font is too bulky and hard to read. The Quotes wont line up to the left.
My artists brain hates it because I do design this thing like an art project.

Yeah, tell me about it. My site will look perfect in the page builder program, but when I save it and test it in Internet Explorer, the pictures in the reviews will shift and overlap the text. HTML sucks.
