Abe Vigoda passed away today. My favorite in Barney Miller. RIP and thank you for the laughs, Mr. Vigoda.

He was a funny guy, and he seemed genuinely friendly and likable. And didn't Dr. Forrester and Frank find him in their junk drawer in Deep 13 once?
I'm sad he's gone, but I'm glad he got a long life relatively free from health problems. This is quote from his daughter in USA Today:
Vigoda's daughter, Carol Vigoda Fuchs, told The Associated Press that Vigoda died Tuesday morning in his sleep at Fuchs' home in Woodland Park, N.J. The cause of death was old age.
"This man was never sick," Fuchs said.
After all the recent deaths from cancer, I'm glad to hear of someone who didn't have to deal with that crap.
Rest well, sir.

Abe always LOOKED like a guy who was sick which led me to believe he died years ago. Congrats on the longevity and going the absolute best way possible. RIP Abe.
