Well, I was really looking forward to enjoying this September 1995 recording of "Wild Rebels" as it's practically my all-time favorite season 2 episode, and my favorite of the biker flicks....... and I was met with a VERY nasty surprise seeing how absolutely HORRIBLE the picture was in this upload, yet again proving no one but Kolos bothers to take the time to clean up their video sources when uploading these broadcast recordings. archive.org/details/mst3k-wild-rebels-and-city-limits-cc-woc-1995-09And to add insult to injury, just like his July 1994 recording of the episode, this one is ALSO missing a good handful of commercials! "Sketch the Cow's MST broadcast recordings bug meeeee...... THEY REALLY BUG MEEEEEE!!!!"

I actually decided to give “Short Attention Span Theater” a chance after only seeing bits and pieces of it via my own recordings and some posted by Kolos……
And dang…… there’s hardly ANY full shows available of that talk show. Not to mention all the ones on YouTube seem really choppily edited.
Similarly I was curious to see if Mo Gaffney’s “Women Aloud!” was up anywhere…… nope.
It really seems like no one bothered to tape ANYTHING from Comedy Central prior to South Park that wasn’t otherwise MST, (maybe) SNL, The Kids in the Hall, Absolutely Fabulous, Dr. Katz etc. Maybe that could also just be my grumpy pessimistic self speaking there, but the amount of shows from the 90s on that network now lost in time is crazy ridiculous.

At the very least I was happy to see Joel and Trace’s appearance on the show available on YouTube, as well as an interview with the late Judy Tenuta (and on a side note: since Kolos pointed it out through good faith assumptions, I believe that small promo of her with the TV in her hair WAS indeed her).
I definitely love her energy. A shame cancer had to take her life away. 😞

And this right here, folks, is the VERY LAST Comedy Central recording my dad ever made of MST….. on New Years Eve 1995. A good solid way to end a long journey of taping episodes. youtu.be/6SbjSa8kJR8?si=ZidJu5m1VYwM6vTvNot one of my favorite recordings personally, but I was still happy to see this on Kolos’s channel none the less. In the mean time, I’ve been in the process of uploading higher quality recordings of episode airings that Kolos previously uploaded (while still linking back his own uploads from tapes he received from other people for fairness since he was kind enough to give the public recordings at all while I wasn’t available to supply my own tapes to him at the time), so stay tuned for that…..

Well..... this is a first for me......
Currently in the process of uploading a 1994 MST recording (you'll see what it is soon), and a partial recording to the end of a "Homicide: Life on the Street" episode got it blocked (from NBC, go f*cking figure)...... but it was only blocked EXCLUSIVELY in the United States..... not globally.
Yeah, go figure, the country where MST was made and originally aired before becoming a nationwide show with some terrible foreign dubs here and there...... is the only one where my upload is blocked. Stay classy, NBC.
