Had a discussion with my sister recently where she posited that the divisiveness of pizza with pineapples on it was kind of the modern equivalent to the divisiveness of anchovies on pizza. And in a lot of ways she's right. We don't really get comedians joking about anchovies any more, but they're starting to draw lines in the sand about pineapple.
These are far from the only divisive pizza toppings, though. Every once in a while I like a pizza with pieces of feta cheese on it, or maybe green olives instead of black. Also, in highschool I dabbled with the idea of making sea food pizzas or pizzas with fruit as a kind of "dessert pizza" but I never had the time or resources to try it out. And I confess that I'm in the "pro-pineapple" camp, and while I won't go out of my way to add anchovies I'll certainly tolerate them.
So how about you? Any odd pizza toppings that you love (or kinda like (or tolerate)) that other people just can't stand? Any toppings that you'll fight people about, coming to blows before they have the chance to ruin your pizza?

Everyone here at the MST3K Message Board is apparently super chill about Pizza Toppings. I'll add this to my notes...

I'm not fussy when it comes to pizza, and I love a good "Hawaiian" style pizza - Canadian bacon and pineapple. Saying something shouldn't be on a pizza is kind of like saying something shouldn't be on a burger. Says who? If you're a child and can only handle pepperoni on your pizza, well, I have no problem with that, either.
Also Chicago versus New York style? Who cares? I remember Anthony Bourdain going on and on about Chicago style being a big casserole. Fair enough. Not to speak ill of the dead, but Bourdain was a bit of an a**hole snob.
No I'm hungry for pizza.

I've tried a few Chicago-style pizzas in my day. Didn't really care for it, but I can see how some people would like it.

I really like both styles. As Joel said (paraphrasing) - "The truth is that both systems work equally well, it's really just a matter of personal preference."

And, as with the computers being discussed, what you're trying to do with it. Chicago style pizza isn't a casserole (it's a savory pie), but it *is* something you might turn to if you were looking for a kind of very savory, filling thing but didn't want traditional pasta.
