I missed the Den of Geek one, good find. So, I have to wait till July for Joel? I'm elderly, and time is flying like a rocket. Before I know it, it'll be Joel-time, yipee. As an aside, I imagine we'll see more of Dr. Cabal in "The Shape of Things to Come" episode, since those flicks gave us the name (and the first flick, the look)

There's not too much new in the Den of Geek interview, outside of the Demon Squad bit, the only interesting piece we probably haven't heard is Jonah being on a podcast with Joe Dante. But I'm having fun scavenging what I can find from each of these as they come out.

Well, I got two guesses right so far, at least.

The director of Demon Squad is VERY happy about the idea that Joel might be the one hosting his movie.

Ha, yeah that'd be my reaction as well. The father of it all, doing my movie? What a thrill.

Grand opening of the Gizmoplex means I'll be updating the reviews where needed, this weekend. Santo was given a new, brief paragraph tonight. Plus I upgraded my images since the picture quality is better. And as noted in that update, am I the last one to notice that the carpet in the lower theaters comes from the movie The Shining"? Yup, a little slow on that one, wasn't I.

and I added a few paragraphs for the new Livestream... Robot WarsTo sum up, some techy issues marred the experience. And it's still very much the weakest ep on the season for me to date. I find new stuff to laugh at with each viewing of Santo, but Wars.... the writing was so thin that what you see (or heard) is what you get. EDIT, some folks are saying they added new riffs, but the original livestream is now gone, so I can't compare. At least now I know how they are spelling Dr Kabahl, and Barbara, in her early 60s, still looks great (jeez, I'm in my early 60s and look like hell, lol)

And the last and best of this weekend's shows gets a page update too... Beyond AtlantisYeesh, I'm tuckered (I also watched a new Rifftrax from MJ and Bridget, but haven't had the time to write about it) And we're not done, The Mads are up on Tuesday, then MST returns with special events.

Now Season 12 is complete. And the page is officially linked on the main MST index with the other Beatle riff-pages.
Thanks to everyone who helped complete the project (with an extra shout-out to sol-survivor, who went that extra mile the past year and a half) - it was years in the making, but we did it (all that's left is adding new eps as they are released)

Emily's back with worlds of wonder and magic... Doctor MordridAnd why are these reviews so long, even my originals, the classic era, tended towards short and sweet. I've tried to cut these season 13s down, but there's just so much to address... the running storylines, the various hosts and bot voices, the livestream material. At least their shorter than the soft-launch write-ups -phew- those were a handful.
