A cool bit of news from the show: Josh Weinstein and Frank Conniff are going to be co-headlining a series of comedy shows at Acme in Minneapolis May 31-(I believe) June 3.

Paul Myers is the Q&A guest. He’s a journalist who has written books on Kids in the Hall and Barenaked Ladies. He’s also the brother of Mike Myers.

Did anyone watch? Was it any good? I'm leery about watching any more content from any of the guys and gals of MST3K. Still love them and glad that I stumbled upon the show years ago as it changed my life for the better, but lately - meh. None of them are funny to me anymore as far as the shows go. They seemed to have run out of ideas.
So how was it?

I think they're funny. I guess it kind of depends on what you mean by "run out of ideas." Like different references, or the fact that they're following the same format that was used 30+ years ago?

I thought it turned out good. The riffs were funny, and the Q&A afterwards was interesting. I was worried when the picture locked up during the Washington segment of the February short; I figured, "Here comes the white swirl again!". Fortunately, the problem was quickly fixed and everybody kept their cool.
I haven't seen "Dimension 5", which is next month's movie. I think I'll hold off on looking it up and go in cold.

The fact that they're just talking incessantly now over the movies or shorts just to talk over a short or movie and the jokes just aren't funny anymore.
